My Work
I create landscape paintings with vivid colour, bold contrasts, and hard, clean lines. My most recent completed works are based on Georgian Bay, ON. Currently, I am working on urban landscapes of Toronto with an emphasis on the pedestrian point-of-view.
I work with acrylic paint and on canvases with a 1.5 inch profile that are painted entirely — the painting continues around the edges. I also paint with contrasting textures to add to the three-dimensional quality of my paintings.
My style is simple and vibrant. I aim to create rich, dynamic landscapes by balancing clean lines and shapes with bold colours and high-contrast palettes.
About Me
A self-taught painter based in Toronto, ON, I became a member of Workman Arts in 2024. My work was first exhibited at the Being Scene juried exhibition in 2023 and has also been shown at the Northern Contemporary gallery in Toronto. My paintings are currently on display at the Out of This World cafe at 1051 Queen St. W through a Workman Arts showcase partnership.
I have completed several commissioned paintings and am available for future projects. Please contact me if you have any interest in purchasing or commissioning a painting.
